Got his 2009 off to the perfect start when he won his third European Tour title by winning the Joburg Open in South Africa in the first event of the year. Previously he won the BMW PGA Championship for a second time, five years after his maiden victory, when he held off the challenge of Justin Rose at Wentworth Club in 2007 in a play-off.
